Bei unserem kurzen Ausflug von Lignano nach Piran mit der Jolie Fleur hatten wir das Glück, 14 Delphine und 2 Meeresschildkröten zu sehen.
Mit strahlendem Sonnenschein und 30 Grad genossen wir unseren Urlaub in vollen Zügen. Obwohl wir alle Lüfter im Boot aktiviert hatten, war es immer noch ziemlich warm, um irgendetwas zu unternehmen. Unser neues Bimini (Sonnenschutz) mussten wir aber installieren. Bei der Montage kämpften wir gegen den Schweiß an, aber letztendlich haben wir es geschafft. Wir mussten noch kurz zum Segelmacher, der für nur 20 Euro zwei Schlitze einarbeitete. Jetzt passt das Bimini perfekt und sieht super aus. Natürlich mussten wir es auch gleich ausprobieren.
Mit der Fleur segelten wir von Lignano nach Piran in Slowenien. Dort fanden wir einen wunderschönen Ankerplatz in einer geschützten Bucht, umgeben von steilen Felswänden und einer charmanten kleinen Ortschaft. Auf dem Rückweg entdeckten wir direkt nach dem Ablegen mehrere Delfinschulen und zählten insgesamt 14 Delphine. Einige von ihnen schwammen sogar ganz nah am Boot vorbei und tauchten unter uns hindurch. Es war ein beeindruckendes Erlebnis. Auf unserem weiteren Weg überraschte uns noch eine Meeresschildkröte, die jedoch schnell abtauchte, als sie uns bemerkte.
Alles in allem war es ein kurzer, aber wunderschöner Urlaub!

During our short trip from Lignano to Piran on the Jolie Fleur, we spotted 14 dolphins and 2 sea turtles.
30 degrees, sunny weather, vacation time. Phew. We activated all the fans on the boat, but it’s still too hot to do anything. However, we need to install the bimini (sunshade). We’ve never sweated so much. We try different things, but in the end, we install the bimini somewhat incorrectly and need to visit the sailmaker for a quick fix. For 20 euros, two slits are added, and now it fits perfectly and looks great. Of course, we need to test it out. With the Fleur, we sail from Lignano to Piran/Slovenia. We find a beautiful anchorage in a protected bay surrounded by steep cliffs and a small village nearby. On our way back, just after setting sail, we spot several schools of dolphins. In total, we count 14 dolphins. Some of them come very close to the boat, allowing us to observe them as they dive under it. Amazing! Further out, we also encounter a sea turtle, which quickly dives as soon as it notices us.
It was a short but incredibly enjoyable vacation!
